E. Scott Geller, Ph.D., Alumni Distinguished Professor, just completed his 50th year as a teacher and researcher in the Department of Psychology at Virginia Tech, and Director of the Center for Applied Behavior Systems. Dr. Geller is also a co-founder and Senior Partner of Safety Performance Solutions, Inc. He has authored, coauthored, or edited 51 books, 88 book chapters, 39 training manuals, 272 magazine articles, and over 300 research articles addressing the development and evaluation of behavior-focused interventions to improve human welfare and life satisfaction. Dr. Geller has received lifetime achievement awards from the International Organizational Behavior Management Network and the American Psychological Foundation. Dr. Geller is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association, the Association for Psychological Science, the Association of Behavior Analysis International, and the World Academy of Productivity and Quality Sciences. He is past Editor of the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis (1989-1992) and Associate Editor of Environment and Behavior (1982-2017), and current Consulting Editor for Behavior and Social Issues, the Journal of Organizational Behavior Management, and the Journal of Safety Research.
Mimi Fitriana
Associate Professor, School of Science & Psychology, Universiti Malaya-Wales, Malaysia.
Research Interests:Cognitive and Behavioural assessment; Trauma recovery and resilience; Mental health and well-being; Family functioning and Cyber Psychology.
Dr. Mimi Fitriana is an associate Professor at the School of Science and Psychology, Universiti Malaya-Wales (UM-Wales) Kuala Lumpur, where she also serves as the Head of Research Management Centre at the University for the past 3 consecutive years. Her research interests include Cognitive and Behavioural assessment, Trauma recovery and resilience, Mental health and well-being, Family functioning and Cyber Psychology. She has been contributing to the academia for more than 15 years and has published papers in many indexed-journals. Her commitment in research succeeded with fourteen grants to complete in the past 5 years, where she received six international grants collaborated with other International Universities, and eight other University grants collaborated with the local Universities in Malaysia. Dr Mimi was also the recipient of two Malaysia Government grants in 2020 and in 2022. She also has received several best paper awards, best presenter awards and research innovation awards. Dr Mimi also currently serves as the Clinical Psychologist for Malaysia Relief Agency (MRA), a Non-Governmental Organization in Malaysia where she serves as the Head, MHPSS project, and during the COVID-19 pandemic, she had led the team of psychologists and Counselors of MRA to succeed the Project of Mental Health and Psychosocial Supports for the society through online counseling and psychotherapy. She also collaborates with a few other International and Local NGOs in mental health and education programs. Dr Mimi has recently received the award of Greater Klang Valley Frontliners from the Ministry of Health, Malaysia for her contribution in the MHPSS project, along with the team. She contributes in many conferences, seminars, webinars, forums and talks as the keynote and invited speaker. She also serves as the trainer for a few Corporates, Universities, NGOs and Offices’ trainings.
